To care for a candle, trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use, and let it burn for 2-3 hours initially to avoid tunneling. Keep the candle clean, away from drafts, and store it in a cool, dry place. Use a snuffer to extinguish the flame safely, rotate the candle periodically, and always use a holder to catch dripping wax.
